Gambling Solutions Central Coast offers free counselling, support and education to anyone effected in anyway by problem gambling.

Our counsellors are highly qualified in providing specialised treatment in the complexities of gambling addiction.

Treatment is both Client Centred and Strength Based. This means that we respect you as someone with unique personal qualities and needs, and we assist you to establish and reach positive outcomes based on your values and desires. Counselling is provided through respectful consideration of your individual gender, culture and religious background, spirituality and sexual identity.

Meet the counsellors from Gambling Solutions:

Chris Davidson

Chris has over 19 years experience as a therapeutic counsellor, and has specialised in gambling addiction for the past 14 years. He has a BA in Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy as well as numerous other qualifications in the field of counselling. Chris is an accredited clinical supervisor for NSW Gambling Help counsellors. He is also a lecturer and faculty member for Hypnotherapy Training Australia.

Louise Elgood

Louise has been counselling on the Central Coast for over nine years. Having studied counselling with the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling, Louise went on to work at Lifeline as a telephone crisis counsellor and trainer. Louise is a fully qualified Gambling Help counsellor and has been with Gambling Solutions since early 2013.

Filiz Niyazi

Filiz has over 20 years' experience in the Welfare and Counselling sectors. She obtained her Honours Degree in Sociology/Counselling from the UK and more recently a Post Graduate Diploma in Couple and Family Therapy. Filiz joined the Gambling Solutions Team in April 2017. She is enjoying her new role as Counsellor/Educator at Mingara Wellness Centre and is passionate about empowering and educating her clients to fulfil their true potential.
